We visited the Tropicarium with the second graders. For two hours the children got to see various sea animals (sharks, ray fish, turtles, etc.) and got firsthand experience about them. They even got to stroke the rayfish. Mrs. Olga gave a great deal of additional information for the children, so the field trip was connected with one of the second graders subject: science. The second graders were excited to hear an alligator roar, and they especially liked the small monkeys. The field trip was a success in getting the children more interested in wildlife, and natural science in general.
