Spanish Day Celebration
This year it was very dynamic. Our 3rd and 4th grade students played ‘dynkhana’ and finished all seven tasks in 40 minutes, successfully answering all the questions about Spain and Spanish culture. The tenth grade students had to recite Spanish poems to the sixth graders while everyone’s favourite Spanish words were written on a table. At the end of the day a Spanish story was written using this words. This year passages where read from Julio Cortázar’s “Rayuela” in the library. Our Spanish day ended with a salsa dancing workshop taught by Heidi Rodriguez. Students had the opportunity to try out South American Salsa clothes and musical instruments.
